A free budget app for India
BudgetByChat is a free budget app and expense tracker that works in Indian rupees. Give every rupee a job with a zero-based budget, track bank, card, wallet and cash spending, and record income from abroad at today’s rate.
What works differently in India
Rupees first, any currency when you need it
Set INR as your main currency. A dollar freelance payment or money sent from the Gulf is stored in its own currency and converted to rupees at the latest rate.
Works with every bank, card and wallet
There is no bank connection to set up. Add bank accounts, credit cards, wallets and cash as accounts and log their spending yourself.
Money from abroad, planned
India was the world’s largest remittance recipient in 2024. If part of your household income comes from abroad, the remittance pages show today’s rate for the most common routes into INR.
