Your account
You sign in with a mobile number you control. Keep your phone and WhatsApp account secure, because anyone who can receive your sign-in codes can access your account. You're responsible for what happens in your account and for the information you enter.
What BudgetByChat is (and isn't)
BudgetByChat is a personal budgeting and tracking tool. Figures such as balances, net worth, health scores, debt payoff plans and currency conversions are estimates based on the information you enter and on exchange rates that update a few times a day. They are not financial, tax or investment advice.
Plans and payment
The web app, including all budgeting, tracking, reporting and multi-currency features, is free. The WhatsApp bot will be offered as an optional paid add-on; its price will be shown before you subscribe. If we change prices we'll tell you before the change applies to you.
Founding offer
Waitlist members may reserve a founding spot for the WhatsApp add-on while spots last. Reserving is free and is not a purchase: you pay nothing now and you are not committed to subscribe. If you subscribe at launch while founding spots last, the founding price applies to your first year, and your price stays locked for as long as you stay subscribed without a break. The number of spots and the founding price for your country are shown on the waitlist page.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no attempts to access other people's accounts or data, to overload or disrupt the service, or to use the bot to send spam. We may suspend accounts that do.
Your data
Your financial records belong to you. You can export them and delete your account at any time; see the Privacy Policy for how we handle and delete data.
Availability and liability
We work to keep BudgetByChat available and accurate, but it is provided as is, and WhatsApp delivery depends on third-party services. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses caused by relying on the figures in the app or by the service being unavailable.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms and will update the date above when we do. You can stop using BudgetByChat and delete your account at any time.
