A free budget app for Pakistan
BudgetByChat is a free budget app and expense tracker that works in Pakistani rupees. Plan every rupee with a zero-based budget, track bank, cash and mobile-wallet spending, and record money from family abroad in dollars, dirhams or riyals at today’s rate.
What works differently in Pakistan
Rupees first, other currencies when you need them
Set PKR as your main currency. Salary from abroad, a dollar freelance payment or a dirham transfer is stored in its own currency and converted to rupees at the latest rate, so the budget always adds up in PKR.
Works with every bank and wallet
There is no bank connection to set up and nothing to break. Add a bank account, cash, a credit card or a mobile wallet such as JazzCash or Easypaisa as an account and log its spending by hand.
Remittances as a budget line
If part of the household income arrives from abroad, log it as income in the currency it was sent in. The remittance pages show today’s rate for the most common routes into PKR.
